Guggia designs for AIFD Symposium
Camfeldt’s Flowers and JP Desigs owner Joe Guggia, a member of the American Institute of Floral Designers, was a floral designer at the AIFD national symposium July 5 through 11 at the JW Marriott in Palm Desert.
Working with designers from Australia, Trinidad, Central America and the United States, Guggia and the team created designs for the luncheon “AIFD Partners in Education Reception” which reflected a Latin theme.
Program designers included New York’s Preston Bailey, who has created events for Oprah, Liza Minnelli, Michael Douglas and the design team “Life3,” whose members hail from Belgium, Holland, and Sweden.
With symposiums held yearly across the country, AIFD boasts more than 1,200 members worldwide and is the premiere floral design association for current trends in color, design and floral creations, Guggia said.
