EZ Flower & Floral Design

Joe Guggia AIFD (www.aifd.org) owner of Camfeldt’s Flowers and author of the “E-Z Flower Design” guide series was honored to be asked to assist with the floral designs for Fiesta Floats, winner of this year’s Grand Prize Trophy for the float sponsored by The Rainbird company.  Working with about 25 other floral designers from accross the US, the team did everthing from cleaning the thousands of flowers that arrived, prepping all the foam insertions for the floats,  and many hours of the designing of the flowers onto the floats for the final display at the parade.  Hundreds of dignitarys and residents from the United States, Europe, Asia and other spots in the world were taken on continuous tours with commentators at each float two days before the parade.  “It was an exciting (and very physical!) adventure, and I am very proud to have been a part of the crew, and looking forward to particiapating again next year”, said Guggia.  More about Joe Guggia can be read in the “about” section of this site.
